Berta Vicente Salas is a photographer who has carried out long-term projects on four different continents.
Some of her recent environmental investigations include the hazards tourism imposes on Inuit communities in northern Canada; the devastating environmental impact of Mediterranean cruise ships; and the threat posed by rising sea levels to the native residents of Panama’s Gardi Sugdub Island.
