Brigitte Wenger is a Swiss journalist who works both freelance and for a Swiss media outlet.
After studying sports science, she worked for Swiss public radio for ten years. During this time, she also studied environmental technology.
In 2021, after graduating from the 'Reportageschule' in Reutlingen, Germany, she switched to print journalism. She then worked as a freelance journalist for several years, primarily focusing on the environment and biodiversity, sport and exercise, and the geopolitics of the Arctic.
Since 2025, she has also been a permanent member of the sports editorial team at the Swiss newspaper NZZ.
