Champion Babala Ndangi is a former boxing champion from Kinshasa who still trains young boxers, but also educates a new batch of journalists.

Champion studied economy and languages at the university of Kinshasa. After which he took courses for audiovisual techniques to work with image, sound and edit. He is working as a director and video journalist for television for almost 20 years now. For, among others, Radio Tele Kin Malebo, Raga TV et FM, Agence Congo Magna (Journal de la Ville). At the moment, he mostly contributes to Voice of Congo as a freelance reporter.
