Dr Abdul Hai is an investigative journalists based in Bonn.
He is the editor of the international news platform Our Voice and the print magazine Die Grenze. In 2016, he and two colleagues won the Hostwriter Media Award for their cross-border investigative report on Bangladeshi refugees in Germany.
His work has been published in Deutsche Welle, Our Voice Online, Die Grenze, Deutsche News and European Journalism Observatory (EJO).
Abdul collaborates with colleagues, NGOs and international organisations across Germany and Europe, combining his love of people and nature.
He has received grants from the Journalismfund, CIJI fellowship, Display Europe, the Thomson Reuters Foundation, Panos South Asia and the National Press Foundation from the USA.
