Edwin Koopman is a Dutch award winning journalist, political analyst, writer, lecturer; expert on Latin American politics and current affairs, including armed conflict, the drugs war, human rights, peace building and environmental issues. Lecturer at Dutch universities, author of books on the Cuban and Venezuelan revolutions, contributor to Clingendael Spectator (Foreign Affairs Ministry's think-tank Clingendael).
