Ekpali is a Nigerian freelance journalist. He has extensive knowledge and a proven track record in reporting environmental disasters caused by oil pollution in the Niger Delta.
He has traveled round Nigeria to cover different topics at the intersection of the environment, climate change, and science for different international media outlets including Al Jazeera, FairPlanet, openDemocracy, African Arguments, and The Xylom. His interest in climate, environment, and science reporting led him to take a course in “Reporting Climate Change” from UNINETTUNO University, Italy. During the program, he published a series of papers including “Climate Change threats to the biodiversity in the Mediterranean”.
