Franziska Schwarz is a Vienna-based journalist who focuses on politics and its intersection with society, the environment and, occasionally, art.
She is currently a staff writer at Profil magazine, where she hosts the political podcast Zur Frage der Nation. Previously, she worked at the PULS 24 news desk, produced radio segments for Ö1, and contributed to the Austrian media watch blog Kobuk. Her reports on politics, the economy, disinformation and social issues have appeared on various Austrian media platforms, including radio, podcasts and digital outlets. She studied English and chemistry before transitioning into journalism and digital media.
