Ghassan Waïl El Karmouni is a Moroccan journalist born in Casablanca.

He specialises in investigative reporting and data-driven analysis of government and corporate strategies in infrastructure, finance, energy, real estate, agriculture, and water governance. He has contributed to leading Moroccan outlets such as Economie-Entreprises, TelQuel, Medias24, and others.  

Ghassan's notable works include investigations into the governance of Morocco’s renewable energy projects, the effectiveness of housing policies, and the impact of agricultural strategies on water scarcity. El Karmouni has also reported on social movements, including the Hirak of Al Hoceima.
