Giorgio Michalopoulos is a freelance journalist and PhD student in economics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. He works with several Italian newspapers, including Valori.it, and is coordinator of the Kritica Economica project, an online magazine of pluralist economic debate.
