Irupé Tentorio, from Argentina, is a freelance journalist with over 15 years' experience reporting on critical issues in Argentina and Mercosur.

Tentorio began her career at the renowned Argentine newspaper Página/12, which is renowned for its unwavering commitment to human rights policies. She has extensive experience of covering national and international politics, as well as social, environmental, gender and sexual diversity issues, and human rights legislation, treaties and landmark trials.

Irupé has received international fellowships from the Pulitzer Centre and Journalismfund Europe to investigate deforestation in Argentina's Chaco ecosystem. She has received funding from the International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF) to report on the challenges surrounding access to reproductive rights in Argentina under the administration of Javier Milei. She has also received national grants, including those from the National Arts Fund and the Cultural Patronage Fund, to report on gender inequalities and their economic impact.
