Jenny Tsiropoulou is a freelance journalist based in Athens, Greece.

In 2025, her work won the VOICES Award in Environmental Journalism.

She has reported for Al Jazeera, Euronews, RAI, Middle East Eye, and VICE, among others. She directed the multi-award-winning short documentary ‘Carols’ (2021) and was script editor of the award-winning documentary ‘the Other Half’ by Giorgos Moutafis. She also wrote the podcast series ‘#108: The Fall of Press Freedom in Greece’, nominated for Best Foreign Language Podcast at the Premios Ondas Globales del Podcast Awards.

From 2024 to 2025, she worked with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Michael O’Flaherty, documenting the lived experiences of Roma and Traveller communities across Europe, and consulted on the production of his book ‘The Unheard 12 Million’.
