Lucy King is a British-born Australia-based investigative reporter.

She uses programming, data analysis and visual design with investigative techniques to report on data-driven stories.

Her work often focuses on corporate wrongdoing, as well as using visual investigative techniques to explain and explore issues that matter.

She has previously worked in New York and London, working for the New York Times as a Senior Video Journalist, Quartz News as a Senior Reporter and Vice News as a Senior Producer. She now works as the Head of Data Investigations at the Australian Financial Review.

Lucy is passionate about the power of cross-border collaborations and the use of technology — especially computer-assisted reporting — in advancing modern investigative journalism.
