Luke is interested in data tools and freedom of information requests, and has worked on investigations about policing, migration, and the environment. A recent series on policing in Northern Ireland led to official recommendations for changes in police conduct.

He is currently completing a reporting fellowship with the Social Change Initiative on migration in Northern Ireland.
