Marco Boscolo is an Italian freelance journalist and science writer.  

He regularly contributes to Il BO Live, LeScienze (the Italian edition of Scientific American) and RSI, the National Swiss Radio in Italian.  

Marco co-founded the non-profit media centre Facta.eu and is partner of science communication agency formicablu. He also co-authored international journalism multimedia project (Seedversity.org and SEED control) and the award winning series African Women Scientists on the Move (Premio Columbine 2020).

In 2020 Marco co-authored the book Semi ritrovati, viaggio alla ricerca dell’agro-biodiversità (Codice ed., then also Semilla Recuperadas in Spanish - 2023). In 2024 he published La bianca scienza (Eris Ed.).  

He also teaches data journalism at the Masters in Science Communication at Sissa, Trieste. Since 2020 he is Lecturer in Science Communication skills (Physics and Astrophysics) at the University of Bologna.
