Marina Sardiña is an independent reporter based in Colombia.
Marina is a freelance journalist, photographer, documentary filmmaker, producer and fixer who has worked for various international and local media outlets, as well as NGOs such as La Marea, National Public Radio (NPR), El País, Eldiario.es, Gaceta Magazine, Altaïr Magazine and Amazon Frontlines. She also works as a freelance video editor for Agence France-Presse (AFP). She worked in field documentary production, reporting and news editing for five years, as well as presenting a programme for France 24 in Spanish.
She has lived in Colombia for six years. Her work ranges from written journalism to visual and documentary formats, adopting an intersectional and gender-perspective approach.
