Marina Sardiña is an independent reporter based in Colombia.
Marina is a freelance journalist, photographer, documentary filmmaker, producer and fixer. She has worked for various international and local media outlets, as well as non-governmental organisations (NGOs), including La Marea, National Public Radio (NPR), El País, Eldiario.es, Gaceta Magazine, Altaïr Magazine and Amazon Frontlines. She also works as a freelance video editor for Agence France-Presse (AFP). She has five years' experience in field documentary production, reporting and news editing, and has presented a programme for France 24 in Spanish.
She lived in Colombia for six years. Her work ranges from written journalism to visual and documentary formats, adopting an intersectional and gender-perspective approach.
