Markus Hametner is a data journalist based in Austria.
Markus 'Fin' Hametner has been building bridges between technology and journalism since 2011. A data journalist at the investigative journalism outlet Addendum.org, he covers complex issues using data, statistics, and interactive data visualisations. He co-founded the Austrian campaign for a Freedom of Information law, “Forum Informationsfreiheit”, and has won multiple high-profile lawsuits against public bodies that denied him information.
