Martina Patočková started her career in journalism at the CTK agency as an economic reporter.

She then worked for the country's largest (at the time) serious daily, MF Dnes, and wrote for E15 and Reporter Premium.

In 2020, she founded and launched Ekonews, a website focused on business and sustainability, with journalist Veronika Němcová. She is also its editor-in-chief and writes texts on ESG, problematic landfilling and carbon offsets.
