Mihai Gavril Dragolea is a filmmaker from Romania. 

He specialises in documentary and hybrid fiction filmmaking. His films focus on alternative and marginalised humans, or other types of sentient beings — a subject on which he is also pursuing a PhD. Mihai’s documentaries have been screened at festivals across Europe and distributed in more than 15 countries. He lectures on Documentary Practice at the Faculty of Theatre and Film at Babeș-Bolyai University. Mihai is also active in the fields of ecology and animal protection.
