Natasha Foote is a Brussels-based freelance agrifood journalist, podcaster, and moderator specialising in EU agrifood policy.

Since 2023, she's been working independently, covering all sorts of issues related to European agriculture and food systems, with a particular focus on the Common Agricultural Policy. Before that, she was an agrifood journalist at EURACTIV. She spent a few years working on farms across Europe when she was younger, which gave her a good idea of what farmers and rural communities are really like. She still uses this experience to help her write her reports.

Natasha's got a Master's degree with distinction in Environment, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex, where she focused on food systems and alternative approaches to food production. She's had her work published in top European and international outlets, like FT Sustainable Views, Euronews, EUobserver and The Parliament Magazine. She's also been on the telly, like on RTÉ's Countrywide and BBC World Service. She also regularly contributes to ARC2020, a specialist outlet on agricultural and rural issues, and frequently moderates policy-focused events on agrifood topics in Brussels and across Europe.
