Sofia Christoforidou has been working as a journalist in newspapers, magazines and online media since 2000.

She is member of the Journalists' Union Of Macedonia & Thrace Daily Newspapers. Currently she is a freelancer with insidestory.gr and editor with "Makedonia" newspaper. Previously she has worked  with the third channel of the greek  public broadcaster ERT3 and the Municipal TV station of Thessaloniki  TV100.

Sofia holds a BA in European Culture (Hellenic Open University) and MA in Journalism and Mass Media (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki).

SKOPJE / THESSALONIKI -  Investigative teams from IRL in North Macedonia and Inside Story in Greece secured and analyzed thousand of pages of documents, interviewed tens of stakeholders and authorities and surveyed the Axios/Vardar basin and its facilities in order to identify the environmental pressures on the river and expose the reasons behind them.
