Born in Genoa, Italy, Valentina Camu is a photojournalist based in Paris since 2007.
In 2015 she became a correspondent for the Italian press on news stories. Since then, she has spent her time working on assignments for the French and international press, for NGOs, and on personal projects. She is interested in social issues, such as the situation of exiles, social injustice, exclusion and ecology. She is a member of the photographers' agency Divergence and of the Collectif of journalists Hors Cadre.
