Valeria Ferraro is an Italian freelance photographer.
Her work focuses on social and political issues, particularly migration in the Eastern Mediterranean. She works as a stringer for several news agencies, including the Associated Press and Anadolu Agency, and has collaborated with various newspapers, including Le Monde, El Diario and the Daily Mail, as well as think tanks such as CeSPI.
Valeria holds a PhD in contemporary Turkey and has taught several courses on Turkish history and culture at Italian universities.
