Vince Ballai has been a journalist since 2001 and has worked for HVG since 2020. HVG is a well-known independent weekly in Hungary, famous for its ironic covers and investigative journalism. One of these investigations forced the head of state to resign in 2012.
Vince is the member of the Economic section, and partly responsible for the ZHVG (Z for green) subcolumn. His main focus areas are climate change, environmental protection, conservation and sustainability from renewables to recycling.
Vince conducted interviews with climate scientists, wrote articles and produced video reports on illegally shot protected wild animals, and also covered controversial state run solar panel tenders.
