LASAL was created to champion good journalism and quality documentary photography in the face of the global wave of disinformation and authoritarianism. But LASAL is, above all, a festival. A space to bring together photographers, journalists, students, documentary filmmakers, and, above all, the general public interested in the world around us. A festival that is just getting started but has the ambition to become a national and international benchmark.
