Gazeta Wyborcza is a major Polish daily newspaper known for its liberal perspective and influential role in public discourse.

It was established in 1989 as a platform for the first democratic parliamentary elections. Right now is the largest opinion-forming newspaper in Poland. Wyborcza.pl has almost 300,000 subscribers – the most of all polish media, which gives it a place in the top ten in Europe.

The content for Wyborcza is created by the group of over 500 versatile, experienced journalists and Internet publishers, editors and photographers. They prepare information and articles for paper editions, online services, record video commentaries available online, host podcasts and online meetings. They work all over Poland, because GW has 30 regional offices in all major cities.

Gazeta’s actions and campaigns are highly valued not only by readers but also by many institutions and associations. Gazeta is a member of INMA (International Newsmedia Marketing Association), International Press Institute, WAN-IFRA (The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers) and LENA (Leading European Newspapers Alliance).
