Nakypilo is a media outlet based in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Their mission is to provide the residents of Kharkiv and the surrounding region with balanced, verified information about local events. They aim to spread high-quality, Ukrainian-language, and Ukraine-centric content—something that is critically lacking in the region.
Founded initially as an NGO and a press centre in response the Maidan protest events. It started as a platform for people to talk about their problems and for NGOs to present their initiatives. Nakypilo broadcasted its content it via social media, and developed a YouTube channel.
The team then turned Nakypilo into an independent online media outlet that included news, stories, and explainers in culture and politics.
Radio Nakypilo’s online broadcast is accessible from anywhere in the world via a built-in player on our website (radio.nakypilo.ua), our official mobile app, the RadioPlayer and RADIOClub mobile apps, as well as platforms such as SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube Podcasts.
