Netzwerk Recherche was founded in 2001. Each year, the organization arranges one of Europe’s largest conferences on investigative journalism.
We empower all those who do journalistic research. We show what is possible - and what should be possible.
A vibrant democracy needs critical reporting that clarifies the background and exposes abuses. That is why we defend freedom of the press as the foundation of an informed and responsible society.
We teach the necessary skills for research using traditional and innovative methods. We support courageous projects with scholarships - and conferences to promote dialogue between colleagues, knowledge transfer and critical examination of one's own work. We network journalists in Germany, Europe and the world.
