RPDI is a non-profit public organisation founded in 2006. RPDI promotes the development of the Ukrainian media sector by providing training and support.
RPDI is an independent professional organisation dedicated to fostering a diverse and robust media landscape in Ukraine. By rejecting political pressure and commercial interests, RPDI champions free, high-quality journalism, particularly in regional newsrooms. The organisation supports investigative journalists, promotes gender equality in the media and provides legal assistance to editorial teams.
It has also carried out almost a hundred projects, including training, mentoring, and providing mini-grants to help regional media outlets continue operating in wartime.
