Born in Latin America in 2017, Revista Late is an independent, non-profit network that investigates stories after the news has broken, looking into cases of corruption, links to organised crime, environmental destruction and human rights violations.

The Late Reporting Project is an independent, non-profit, global network of journalists who specialise in arriving late, after the news is over: the next day, to investigate the conflicts that remain and reconstruct the paths that led to them. Late focuses on cases of corruption, organised crime, environmental problems and human rights abuses.
The network began as an attempt to give a voice to Spanish-speaking storytellers from around the world, but soon developed into an in-depth journalism community.

Late is also a journalism school, its main source of funding.
