RUIDO Photo is a non-profit visual newsroom, dedicated to highlighting social issues and promoting the education of social development through documentary photography.

Since 2004, RUIDO Photo has highlighted problems across the globe and denounced violations of human rights using all the tools at hand: photos and videos, exhibitions, books, participatory photography and workshops. RUIDO produces awareness through educational campaigns, publications in general media, social media campaigns, and participates in conferences and talks with the purpose of bringing the message across.

RUIDO Photo regularly publishes within national and international magazines and media to share stories and work with collaborators focussed on human rights. Some of the projects are created with and published by partner organisations and other works are shared through an assignment basis. 

RUIDO Photo directs documentary and journalistic photography workshops at CFD Barcelona and the& Specialization workshop in documentary features at IEFC. Its members are also guest professors and tutors for the Masters programme iin Photojournalism of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
