Xronosis a mutli-awarded local newspaper that was founded on September 4, 1964, and since then it has been circulating continuously, being the biggest daily newspaper of Rhodopi regional unit of Greece.

Xronos and the team of 9 people who work in it, live, breathe and walk in the town of Komotini, continuing its historical work, capturing and commenting on everyday life. Xronos created its radio station (Radio Xronos 87.5) in 1999, and in the same year it became the first provincial newspaper in Greece to create an internet site -which in 2018 was awarded as the “Best Local News Site” in Greece. Since then, Xronos has grown, networked and collaborated and in 2021 was awarded as the “Regional Media of the Year”.
