We are pleased to announce that Journalismfund.eu received applications from 56 individuals who applied for the European cross-border research grant that was due on 1st May. 
The 16 teams had a total of 56 members living in 24 different countries. The applicants are not only committed to cross-border journalism, they also live a cross-border life! There were 21 nationalities in total, ten of them did not live in the country of their citizenship. 40 per cent were women, 60 per cent men.
 
The average team size comprised of 3,5 persons, which indicates a tendency towards bigger teams than before. The average amount applied for was €10,200 – meaning that the total amount came to exactly €162,962.45.

Interest for research grants keeps growing
