Results Cross- border applications November 2017

BRUSSELS - We are pleased to announce that journalismfund.eu received 21 applications asking for a total amount of €235.415. Not all lived up to formal criteria, so in the end the jury discussed 12 projects to a total of €157,150.

In total, there were 59 applicants, of which 31 were women. They came from 24 countries – the “most applying” country was the Netherlands with 9 applicants. The next call for the regular cross-border grant applications will be on Thursday 15th February 2018. Learn more about our cross-border grants here.

BRUSSELS - Journalismfund Europe provides support for its grantees to present their investigation and share their experience and knowledge with colleagues at conferences, trainings, webinars or other journalistic events.

BRUSSELS - In the latest call for proposals 13 applications have been submitted asking for almost €90,000. Journalismfund.eu has €20,000 to distribute in this round.

Two JFE-supported Investigations Receive European Press Prize 2024

PRAGUE – Two of the investigations supported by Journalismfund Europe — via Environmental Investigative Journalism grant and European Cross-Border grant — are among this year's winners of the European Press Prize, the most important journalism award in Europe.
