TRIESTE - The winners of the CEI SEEMO Award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism 2013 have been announced: the Bosnian-Herzegovinian reporter Mahir Šahinović was awarded in the section 'Professional Journalists', Bulgarian Rosen Tsvetkov in the section 'Young Professional Journalists'.

BRUSSELS – The Journalismfund.eu application deadline, initially planned for 16 September, has been postponed to Monday 21 October. Applications that have already been submitted will of course automatically be valid for the new deadline.

BRUSSELS – Journalismfund.eu has launched a new call for applications for cross-border working grants. Journalists with good ideas for cross-border, European stories can apply for a grant. For this round there is € 33,000 to be distributed.
