Online media Lika Club implemented a project called "Lika: Life First-Hand," which through this project presented the people who live in the area of Lika, the most uninhabited area in Croatia. It is also one of the least populated areas in Europe.
A true desert in terms of population, and the situation is getting worse every year, which has an huge impact on all aspects of life. The stereotypical media image portrays Lika in a very negative and superficial way, which creates an extremely bad perception of this area for people throughout Croatia.
As a result, people very rarely see shining examples and a realistic depiction of the lives of individuals who would motivate them to consider this region as a place to live.
