CLUJ NAPOCA / IASI / TIMISOARA / CRAIOVA - Our initiative aims to address the lack of coverage in the local media of organized crime and corruption stories by setting up investigative centers together with trusted local journalists and students in 4 major regions of the country.

PLOCK - The project will be implemented in the płock county in Poland. It is a low-urbanized area near the city of Płock, inhabited by more than 90,000 people with no access to quality local news. The main goal of the project is to eliminate the news desert by launching of information sub-portal in this area, including innovative journalistic formats on issues important to the inhabitants of the news desert.

JELGAVA - As part of the project, it is planned to improve and develop the information platform by expanding information dissemination channels (social networks). To achieve this goal, the aim is to create a new technical platform for both portals, connecting them to social networks, thereby making them accessible to a wider audience. 

FARO - This project aims to create a direct communication channel between the audience and our newsroom, making it possible for our readers to submit information that can be changed by our journalists into news. The main purpose is to serve a population that lives in regions of Algarve underserved by media outlets.

HRASTNIK - The media will redesign and update the web portal, add new features and launch a news app. We will build the portal on a modern framework, add features for the visually impaired, and create a button so audience - the 65+ and youngsters can connect directly to the editorial team, making the portal editorial team accessible and enabling two-way communication to engage readers as content creators.

GWENGAMP - We want to develop a video production activity for our media. Over a period of six months, we want to experiment with different video formats, to see which are the most effective, and which ones we want to develop next. This is a way to complete Splann! editorial offer by strengthening our media's cross media vocation.

KAUNAS / PLUNGĖ / JURBARKAS - We are building a map of local community issues dedicated to the communities of Kaunas, Jurbarkas, Plungė, and Neringa municipalities in Lithuania. This tool will encourage greater collaboration between local communities and policymakers, enabling journalists to become more involved in addressing the issues faced by residents.

LUBLIN – „We invest in democracy” is a project of independent Polish newspaper “Tygodnik Siedlecki”. We are trying to resist the rising crisis in printed press industry. Our readers are spread across 7 administrative districts of eastern Poland, including six in the Mazovia Province and one in the Lublin Province. 

JEREVAN - According to Armenians, the pomegranate symbolises the invincibility of the Armenian soul. From September, pomegranates begin to ripen. Their skin dries up while the flesh fills with moisture.

IRELAND/GREECE - Interpretation is a vital but under-investigated aspect of the international asylum application process.
