Supported projects

PIATEK - The aim of the project is to liquidate one of the news desert in central Poland in the low-urbanized areas of the Piątek commune by launching an innovative news product. The central part of the project will be a dedicated information platform with a module enabling communication between journalists and the local community, which will allow readers to become co-creators of local news.

ZAGREB - The objective of this project is to develop a media app dedicated to Likaclub, a media outlet located in the Lika region of Croatia, which has been operating in the market for the last 9 years and has a significant readership. The creation of the app aims to cater to the needs of local citizens residing in predominantly rural areas.

MARSEILLE - Back in the days, it used to be common to see copies of the newspapers of the day lying around in public places, especially cafés. This habit tends to disappear, as we all are getting in touch with the news through our digital devices. Or maybe not all. Our goal with Marsactu wireless, is to make our investigations available to the users of places different kinds (cultural centers, third spaces, cafés, etc), for free.

DUBLIN - Towards the end of last year, one of the largest media companies in Ireland shut its edition covering Fingal in the north of Dublin. We are piloting the expansion of our coverage from Dublin's centre northwards to step up and help serve these communities, shaping our coverage around what they say they need during active outreach.   

DAUGAVPLIS - The project centers on Chayka, the premier independent Russian-language news source in Daugavpils, Latvia. We aim to enhance its local journalism capabilities and financial stability by launching a creative studio for diversified revenue, and expanding news coverage in the underreported Latgale region. This initiative primarily benefits the Russian-speaking population, who often feel disconnected from Latvia's central government and the rest of the nation, providing them with trustworthy, inclusive, and relevant news content.

PERIPHERIES OF ITALY - This project will amplify the the voices of marginalised communities through editorial productions that collaborate with local newsrooms, grassroot activists and non- governmental organisations in Rome, Milan, Sardinia, Sicily and Calabria and other territories. Together, they will produce quality reporting taught through fieldwork, networking and workshops.

VAS COUNTY - SZOMBATHELY - With the help of the project, we aim to present as much real information and opinions as possible, to bring opinions into conflict, and thus to develop the advocacy capacity of citizens. We are present on almost all platforms (website, Facebook, YouTube, podcast platforms, Instagram, newsletter, live meetings), so we can reach a wide range of ages and social groups, including various marginalized groups. We have a significant social media following.

LISBON - "Undesert the News" is a constructive journalistic project that focuses on engaging with young individuals from underprivileged communities in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. These young people are typically disconnected from mainstream news and are often overlooked by the rest of the society.

JAWORZNO - MYSŁOWICE - The project aims to examine the behavior of readers taking part in a public discussion with the need to verify their identity. Public debates on the development of the region are to be a circumstance to encourage discussion of people who will not speak anonymously. The recipients are the inhabitants of the region, a city in Silesia in Poland. Mainly in Jaworzno and Mysłowice.

PAU - The media is based in the city of Pau in France and it covers the news of the South-West region. It is targeting decision makers, general public, policy makers, economic decision-makers, and association members.
