Edgars Spuravs is Director of the Ann-Marie and Gustaf Ander Centre for Media Studies at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. He also runs the SSE Riga Media Hub, which provides exiled journalists and media professionals with a secure co-working space and support. Edgars is also a member of the Media Policy Advisory Council at Latvia's Ministry of Culture. He combines academic leadership with advising on media policy and supporting press freedom through practical initiatives.
