Hande is since May 2024 the project coordinator of Journalismfund Europe's European Cross-Border Grants programme (PluPro).
Hande Özhabeş Koç, born and raised in Istanbul, obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Marmara University in Turkey and her Master’s degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. With a wealth of professional experience, she has served as a project coordinator and policy analyst at various NGOs. Her expertise lies in the areas of human rights, democratization support, anti-corruption and access to information.
