Hugo De Ridder (1932-2018) was a Belgian journalist en publicist and member of the jury for the Pascal Decroos Fund from 2009 to 2011. He worked for the Flemish newspaper De Standaard and was acclaimed for his investigative journalistic work. He wrote several books about Belgian politics and key Belgian politicians like Wilfried Martens, former prime minister.
