Lydia

Lydia Namubiru was one of the jurors for our Connecting Continents Grant programme. She is a digital/data journalist who currently writes for Quartz, an international business news site, is the programme officer for data journalism & research at the African Centre for Media Excellence and the data curator for www.data.ug, the home of Uganda’s open data. She also writes the eclectic blog: Of Course I Have Issues. She holds a masters degree in data journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
