Former freelance reporter. He now works at the German Association for Investigative Journalism (Netzwerk Recherche), where he developed the first free peer support hotline for journalists suffering from psychosocial problems (the "Helpline"). He is also heavily invested in fostering non-profit journalism in Germany and Europe.
