Adriana Thomasa is a Spanish photojournalist and documentary photographer based in Spain and Chile.

Adriana Thomas (born 1994 in Melilla, Spain) studied Audiovisual Communication and Documentary Film and has attended various photojournalism workshops. She focuses her work on identity, territory, the environment, social movements and migration. She is a stringer for Agencia EFE, and her work has appeared in international publications such as The Guardian, EL PAÍS and Agence France Presse. In 2024, she won the Laboratorio Editorial prize at FOCCO24 in Chile, and in 2023 she received an honourable mention in the Environment Category at Fotoprensa 2023 in Chile.

Her work focuses on identity, territory and the environment, as well as social movements and migration. In 2018, she directed her first short documentary film, Fuera de Campo, which was selected for over a dozen film festivals. From 2019 to 2020, she documented the Chilean social uprising. In 2022, she has been covering migration stories in northern Chile and her homeland of Melilla. She is interested in documenting her surroundings and focusing on the places where she lives. She tells intimate and personal stories in order to preserve memories and encourage reflection on social and cultural issues.
