Alice Facchini is an Italian freelance journalist specialised in environment, social and gender issues.

She has reported from a number of countries, including Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Jordan, and Guinea Bissau, investigating the destruction of natural ecosystems and how standards of living conditions in developing countries has changed.

Her work has appeared in The Guardian, Internazionale, Rai3, La7, IRPI – Investigative Reporting Project Italy and others. In 2022 she won the European Press Prize – Innovation Awards for the collaborative journalism international investigation Cities for rent.
