Ana Poenariu is a Romanian investigative journalist, based in Bucharest.
Ana has years of experience in cross-border investigations. She is a reporter for Public Record, an independent investigative outlet in Romania that she co-founded, and runs Factual.ro, a fact-checking initiative. She has reported on European funds and properties of politically exposed persons. She notably contributed to the award-winning Riviera Maya Gang series coordinated by OCCRP in 2021.
