Davide Lemmi has been a freelance journalist and video journalist since 2016.
After earning a degree in political science, he left Italy that same year to settle in Beirut. In August 2020, he relocated to Dakar, Senegal, where he reported and produced video stories across West Africa and the Sahel for international outlets including Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle, Voice of America, La Repubblica, and RSI.
He is now based in Athens, where he continues his work focusing on long-form stories, reportage, and investigative journalism.
Lemmi is also co-founder of FADA, an Italian collective of freelance journalists, photographers, and videographers, focusing on international reporting and visual storytelling.
