Eleonora Vio is a freelance multimedia journalist.
She produces in-depth reports and investigations into social, climate, environmental and energy issues, as well as on various forms of radicalism and women's stories. She has focused primarily on hostile and conflict-ridden areas, particularly in the Middle East, Africa and Ukraine, nvestigating the far right in Europe and producing a documentary on the mining sector in the Congo.
Since 2020, Eleonora has covered the energy transition and the link between environmental damage and conflict. She edited The Passenger Palestina, published by the Italian publishing company Iperborea and released in September 2023. She has combined her journalistic career with documentary production for several years, working as both a director and creative producer.
She has received various awards and collaborates with leading Italian and international media outlets.
