Erin Rizzato Devlin is a Scots-Italian investigative journalist and researcher specialised in energy, politics and environmental justice. She has a background in philosophy and politics, with a strong interest in ethics, global justice and local governance.

She has worked as an editor, environmental reporter, local democracy reporter and Scandinavian correspondent before turning to investigative journalism. She is also co-founder of Equitable Energy Research CIC, a not-for-profit created to help local communities in Scotland and beyond navigate the renewable energy sector with confidence.
