Erisa Kryeziu is journalist from Albania.
Erisa Kryeziu graduated with honours in Journalism and Communication and holds a Master of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Tirana.
For the past seven years, she has been working as a journalist at the media organisation Citizens Channel, which publishes on the Citizens.al platform.
Erisa reports on social issues and human rights, with a primary focus on labour rights, gender equality, marginalised groups, persons with disabilities, and environmental issues.
Her work has recently been recognised in major national competitions, including receiving the third prize of the European Union Investigative Journalism Award in 2025. She was also awarded second prize for green journalism by the Kosovo Sustainable Development Week Initiative, for a cross-border article produced in collaboration with a colleague from Kosovo.
In addition, Erisa works as a project coordinator focusing on youth engagement and media literacy. She applies innovative reporting techniques such as Mobile Journalism and citizen engagement tools in reporting (ECR – Engage Citizens Reporting).
