Jan Rübel

Jan Rübel is a German reporter.

Jan Rübel is a regular contributor to several national newspapers and magazines. He studied Middle Eastern Studies in Hamburg, Beirut and Tel Aviv. After completing the Axel Springer School of Journalism, he worked as a political editor at Die Welt for two years. In early 2005, he moved to Welt am Sonntag, where he was a parliamentary correspondent for the CDU, CSU and FDP for two and a half years.

In May 2007, he joined the development editorial team at Axel Springer AG. He joined Zeitenspiegel in January 2008 and has been part of the management team since late 2024.
